Our first Egyptian strawberries arrived at our partners in NL today. We're happy with the quality of the first arrivals. The availability of the Egyptian strawberries is quite limited this week, but this season we expanded our total contracted acreage and infrastructure to avoid any shortages in supply during the season.
Egypt is also facing higher cost this year for the fruit, labor, packaging and logistics. The limited availability of airfreight booking is not making it any easier.
All in all with the help of our partners and colleague, we make it work 💪
