Mission Produce Europe is looking for a Sr. Sourcing & Logistics Manager. An experienced senior level individual who will lead the EU Sourcing and Logistics operations to optimize Mission Produce’s end-to-end production and sourcing functions. This role is pivotal in managing both the day-to-day sourcing operations and long-term strategic planning to support sustainable growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Manager will be responsible for external stakeholder relationship management, inventory control, production scheduling, and cost management. In addition, this role includes direct management and development of the Sourcing Manager and Supply Chain Coordinators to drive performance, efficiency, and collaboration across Mission Produce’s EU operations.

Essential tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible to formulate a year-round sourcing strategy.
- You will constantly monitor the market and adjust the sourcing plans accordingly.
- Develop performance evaluations and compliance, ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- You will optimize the supplier relationships to secure year-round supply.
- Monitor the process and product flow and maintain quality standards through the customer.
- Work closely with the Commercial Director and taking the lead where necesary.
- Oversee the sourcing manager and supply chain coordinators, providing guidance and giving support.
- Act as a liaison between supply, demand, production, sales and service provider.
- You have financial oversight en cost management, concerning cost analysis, profitability, contingency, KPI setting and financial reporting.
- Continuously you will be searching for improvement and process optimization
- You report to the Commercial Director.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, agriculture or related field; advanced studies in supply chain or business administration preferred.
- Broad experience in supply chain or procurement in the fresh produce or fruit industry, with a focus on complex logistics or production environments.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel) and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365. SAP or Navision.
- Proven leadership skills in a cross functional setting.
- You are already living and settled in the Netherlands.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
- A strong commitment to meeting customer needs and ensuring high service levels.
- You communicate clearly and fluently at all levels and you have an excellent command of English. Proficiency in Dutch and Spanish would be beneficial.
